Where Light Meets Legend

A 3,200 sq ft sanctuary for photographers who demand more than a white box.

The moment you push through the matte-black steel door, the hum of the city fades into a hush. The air carries the faint scent of aged oak from our hand-selected floorboards, warmed by 5,000K daylight-balanced LEDs that render every texture—from the buttery leather of a vintage couch to the frosted glass of a perfume bottle—with cinematic precision. This isn’t just a studio. It’s where your vision takes its first breath, surrounded by tools built for artists, not amateurs.

Copperbrookpath studio interior with dramatic lighting

Built for the Uncompromising

Six pillars that set Copperbrookpath apart from every other rental in the city.

🔇

Soundproofed to the Bone

Our walls are lined with 4-inch mineral wool and double-layered drywall, tested to block 55 dB of street noise—no more sirens ruining your voice-over takes or client calls. The silence is so complete, you’ll hear the *click* of your shutter like it’s the first time.

200A Electrical Service

No more tripping breakers mid-shoot. Our 200-amp panel powers 12 Profoto D2s, 3 Phase One XT cameras, and a full craft services station simultaneously—all while keeping your lights flicker-free at 1/8000s sync speed.

🌀

Hydraulic Cyclorama

A seamless 12’ x 24’ infinity curve that lowers to floor level with the touch of a button, eliminating seams and saving you hours of retouching. The surface is coated in a matte, non-reflective finish that holds color like a dream, whether you’re shooting a $50K watch or a newborn’s first portrait.

🌡️

Climate-Controlled to 72°F ±1°

No more sweating models or foggy lenses. Our HVAC system maintains a precise 72°F with 40% humidity, using hospital-grade HEPA filters to keep dust off your sensors and allergens out of your set. Even in July, your team stays sharp, and your gear stays clean.

💻

On-Site Digital Tech

A Phase One XF IQ4 150MP medium-format back with Capture One Pro pre-configured on a 27” calibrated Eizo monitor—ready to tether your shoot in seconds. Our techs handle the color grading, so you can focus on the shot, not the histogram.

Private Client Lounge

A soundproofed retreat with a Miele espresso machine, a curated selection of loose-leaf teas, and a fridge stocked with cold-pressed juices and local craft beer. The walls are lined with reclaimed walnut, and the couch is deep enough to nap on between takes—because even legends need a break.

🔐

24/7 Access with Biometric Entry

No more waiting for a keyholder. Your fingerprint grants you access to the studio, gear cages, and secure storage lockers—whether it’s 3 PM or 3 AM. Our system logs every entry, so your equipment is always accounted for.

📦

Gear Concierge Service

Need a Hasselblad H6D-400c for tomorrow’s shoot? A set of Kino Flo Celeb LEDs for a last-minute video project? Our concierge sources and delivers pro-grade equipment within 4 hours, so you’re never stuck without the right tool.

Spaces That Adapt to Your Vision

Three distinct studios, each designed for a different kind of magic.

The Atelier studio space with high ceilings and brick walls

The Atelier (1,800 sq ft)

A cathedral-ceilinged loft with 14-foot-high exposed brick walls and a wall of north-facing windows that bathe the space in soft, diffused light. The floor is reclaimed oak, sanded to a silken finish and sealed with a matte varnish that won’t reflect your strobes. Perfect for editorial fashion, large-scale product shots, or intimate portrait sessions where space breathes creativity.

The Vault studio with cyclorama and industrial design

The Vault (800 sq ft)

A subterranean bunker with 9-foot ceilings and a hydraulic cyclorama that transforms from a seamless white infinity curve to a moody charcoal gradient in minutes. The walls are lined with acoustic panels wrapped in Belgian linen, and the floor is poured resin—waterproof, scratch-proof, and ready for liquid splashes or muddy boots. Ideal for automotive shoots, beauty close-ups, or any project that demands precision control.

The Nest studio with cozy wood-paneled interior

The Nest (600 sq ft)

A cozy, wood-paneled studio with a working fireplace, a vintage Persian rug, and a collection of mid-century modern furniture that’s been art-directed to within an inch of its life. The lighting is all continuous—Arri Orbiter LEDs with full-spectrum tuning—so you can shoot video and stills simultaneously. The perfect hideaway for lookbook shoots, influencer content, or family portraits that feel like a living room, not a set.

Voices from the Studio

What our clients say about the Copperbrookpath experience—unedited and unfiltered.

I’ve shot in studios from LA to Tokyo, and Copperbrookpath is the first that feels like it was built *for* photographers. The soundproofing is insane—the kind of silence where you can hear your own heartbeat. And the gear? Top-tier, without the attitude. They even had a Phase One XT ready to go when our rental fell through last minute. 10/10, no notes.

Fashion Photographer, *Vogue*

New York, NY

We needed a space that could handle a full-scale automotive shoot—high ceilings, heavy-duty power, and enough room to maneuver a car. The Vault was perfect. The hydraulic cyclorama saved us hours of retouching, and the 200A service meant we could run all our lights without a single flicker. Plus, the client lounge kept our team fueled with espresso and good vibes. Will 100% be back for our next campaign.

Priya Mehta

Director, Bose

Boston, MA

As a small business owner, I don’t have the budget for a full production team. Copperbrookpath made me feel like a pro. The Nest was cozy and intimate, the lighting was foolproof, and the staff was so patient with my endless questions. The final images? They look like they belong in a magazine. My clients are obsessed, and I’ve booked three more shoots since.

Questions We Get a Lot

Because even the most prepared creatives need a little clarity sometimes.

Do you offer discounts for long-term bookings? +

Absolutely. We offer a 10% discount for bookings of 5+ consecutive days and a 20% discount for 10+ days. This applies to both studio rentals and gear packages. Need a space for a month or more? Let’s talk—we’ll craft a custom rate that works for your budget and schedule. Our longest continuous booking to date? A 45-day shoot for a major automotive campaign. The studio became their second home, and we made sure it felt like one.

What’s your cancellation policy? +

We understand that plans change, but we also have to protect our team and other clients. Here’s the breakdown: Cancel 7+ days before your shoot, and you’ll get a full refund. Cancel 3-6 days before, and you’ll be charged 50% of your booking fee. Cancel within 48 hours, and the full fee applies. That said, we’re happy to work with you to reschedule—just give us a heads-up as soon as possible. Life happens, and we’d rather have you back for a future shoot than lose you forever.

Can I bring my own equipment? +

Of course! We encourage you to bring your own gear—it’s what makes your work unique. Our studios are designed to accommodate everything from a single mirrorless camera to a full cinema rig. Just let us know in advance if you’re bringing anything that requires special setup (like a jib arm or a fog machine), so we can ensure the space is prepped and safe. And if you forget something? Our gear concierge can source almost anything within 4 hours. We’ve seen it all, from Hasselblads to live goats (yes, really).

Do you provide insurance for rented gear? +

Our gear rental packages include basic insurance coverage for theft and damage, but we highly recommend checking with your own insurance provider to ensure you’re fully protected. For high-value items (like a Phase One XT or a set of Profoto D2s), we can provide additional coverage for a small fee. Safety first—we want you to focus on the shoot, not the ‘what-ifs.’
